Welcome 2020. Our guild meeting began with a pop up shop from Alexandria Attree of Royal Quilts. Fabric, notions and thread oh my! Alexandria’s presentation shared some great reasons to shop in Canada, insights to what makes Royal Quilts unique. She shared her website, upcoming events and encouraged us to check out her website for events and new fabric lines. Be sure to check your email for a special offer to NMQG members.
Australia Wildfires Donations and Sew – In
Woolongong Modern Quilt Guild has a call-out for tree blocks to be sent to their guild. In hopes of giving comfort to families who have lost so much to the wildfires. One of our members brought this to our attention and welcomes anyone who would like to donate blocks to bring them to February’s meeting.
