We had a good turnout out for this month’s meeting. Thank you to everyone who donated tree blocks for our collective donation to the Australia Wildfires. We had 39 blocks returned. What a talented group.
Our next SEW DAY is : Saturday March 21, 9 am -4 pm. Potluck Lunch & Open Sew Day.

Canadian Quilter’s Association
Our guild has been registered with the Canadian Quilters Association. One of the benefits of this is our members can now participate in guild challenges. The current challenge is Gateway to Adventure. The winning quilt from each guild will go on display at Quilt Canada in Edmonton in June. The quilt must have a visible amount of the feature fabric Kona Jungle.
Tori brought this fabric from Kindred Spirits this evening to sell to anyone interested in participating in this challenge which several members purchased.
These quilts must be submitted to CQA by April 15th so Heather encouraged everyone to bring their finished project to the April 9th meeting. Voting will take place to determine our winning quilt which Heather will forward to CQA.
